You may be asking yourself, "Why is Piccolo his favorite character? He isn't as strong as many of the others. Why?" I'll tell you why! There are a few reasons he is my favorite. First of all, he was originally the second strongest hero. Another reason, he's so cool. For example, he is so mysterious and wise. Last but not least, Piccolo is green! Green is my favorite color. And now for the real reason you are here, the actual bio. Hopefully all of us know Piccolo's origin. If not, it's a good thing you are here! Let me start off by saying he is a Namekian from the planet Namek. Kami, Piccolo's good side, fled Namek because of a violent storm. When Kami got to earth he wanted to become the new gardian. To impress the former gardian, Kami created the Dragonballs. But the former gardian would still not let him become the new gardian. The former gardian saw that Kami had too much evil inside of him. So Kami seperated himself into a good and evil side. The evil side is what we have all come to know as Piccolo. He was originally called "King Piccolo". King Piccolo was pure evil. (literally) He eventually gathers all of the dragonballs and wishes for youth. With a young body, King Piccolo set out to do the whole world domination bit. Fortunatly, Goku stood in his way. King Piccolo had 4 spawn. He intended to use them for world domination. Krillin was killed by one. Strangely enough, the Flying Nimbus was killed by another. And all of the finalists in the World Martial Arts Tournament were killed. Except Goku. After many clashes of the titans, Goku killed King Piccolo. Before he died, he spit out one final egg. That egg is the same Piccolo as today. Goku and Piccolo were bitter rivals until the arrival of Goku's brother Raditz. Goku and Piccolo's combined strength was barely enough to beat him. The only way Raditz could be beaten was for Goku to die as well. Goku held Raditz while Piccolo used a very powerful called the "Special Beam Cannon". The beam hit Goku and Raditz. Before Raditz died, he told the secrets of the Dragonballs to his more powerful comrads. Piccolo, along with the other Z-fighters, had one year to train before Vegeta and Nappa came. During the year Piccolo trained Gohan. That year, Piccolo started caring for Gohan like a friend. During the fight with Nappa, Piccolo died while protecting Gohan. So Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma went to Namek in order to wish Piccolo, and the others that died, back to life with the Namek Dragonballs. Bla, Bla, Bla! And nothing really happens until Piccolo is needed to fight Freiza. Once on Namek, Piccolo fuses with Nail, a Namekian warrior, to increase his strength. Piccolo is about equal with Freiza until Freiza transforms. Piccolo then gets his tail whupped. After that, SS Goku beats Freiza, bla, bla, bla. And after that, Garlic Jr. attacks the earth. Gohan, along with Piccolo and Krillin, defeat Garlic Jr. After that, Piccolo, along with every other Z-warrior, learned about the coming of the Androids. Piccolo trained with Goku and Gohan. Piccolo nearly destroys Android 20 when he escapes. Android 20 releases Androids 17 and 18. Piccolo makes himself complete by fusing with Kami. Piccolo fights Android 17, but Cell absorbs 17. After that Gohan defeats Cell and the world is saved. Yea! Then at the next World Martial Arts Tournament, Piccolo discovers the Supreme Kai is there at the Tournament. Piccolo is paired up with the Supreme Kai, but doesn't even lift a finger against him. Piccolo then forfeits the match. Piccolo helps in the fight against Buu. Bla, bla, bla! Nothing really happens until Dragon Ball GT. The original Dragonballs Kami created were called the "Dark Star Dragonballs". The "D.S.Dballs" are more powerful than the earth's Dragonballs, but they carry a curse. If you make a wish with the "D.S.Dballs" and do not collect the balls within a year, something bad will happen! Namely, the planet you were on will explode. (What a curse!) When the balls were used on earth the curse was set. When the earth exploded Piccolo decided to stay on the earth. This may sound foolish, but if Piccolo dies the "D.S.Dballs will disapear.
